The newly constructed Thurgoona Village is bringing a fresh wave of convenience to the fast-growing community of Thurgoona, NSW. Centrally located, the shopping centre gives residents easy access to fresh food and everyday essentials—right on their doorstep.
A cluster of air conditioning units and cooling systems required rooftop installation above the Coles tenancy at Thurgoona Village. Hart (formerly Correct Safety) was engaged to design and construct two plant platforms with acoustic louvre screens and integrated roof safety system.
Hart designed and built two plant platforms, the largest at 19.8 x 10.2 metres. Roof safety elements were installed between these platforms and around solar arrays, creating a designated path for maintenance personnel to move safely across the roof. Both platforms are fitted with acoustic screens, reducing noise and concealing roof-mounted equipment from public view.
