Ramlegh Springs Village

OVERVIEW

Ramlegh Springs Village is planned as a busy town centre anchored by Woolworths and Aldi, supported by 23 specialty stores and a mix of cafés, beauty, medical and fitness tenants.

Our role on this project was to design and deliver safe, efficient roof access and plant platforms that could support heavy supermarket equipment, while preserving the clean architectural lines of the building.

OBJECTIVE

The main objective of this job was to deliver plant platforms strong enough to support large condenser units, with plenty of clear space beneath for ducts, pipes and cable trays. We also needed to reduce the noise and visual impact of mechanical equipment and provide safe access routes to the platforms and between roof levels.

OUTCOME

Our plant platforms were custom engineered to support heavy supermarket equipment, with minimal bracing so that services can run beneath without clashing. Acoustic screens reduce noise and conceal rooftop equipment. While our safe access system makes day-to-day work easier and safer for maintenance teams through careful integration of the following elements:

  • Hart Roof Mount Platform with Hart Acoustic and Mini Orb Screen (Aldi)
  • Hart Roof Mount Platform with Hart Louvre Screen
  • 2 x Hart Louvre Screens – Roof Mounted
  • Hart Louvre Screen – Concrete Mount
  • Hart Acoustic Screen with Louvres fixed to third-party steel platform and screen structure (Woolworths)
  • Access hatch and fold-down ladder
  • Various fixed ladders for safe access between different roof levels
  • Static line system for continuous attachment when near fall edges
  • Walkways for safe, designated access routes across the roof
  • Custom access stairs for safe, easy access to plant platforms
