OVERVIEW

Bunnings Tarneit was built in response to the growth of Melbourne’s western corridor. The 16,500sqm warehouse at Tarneit Park Hub is a key retail and lifestyle asset for the region.

OBJECTIVE

Maintenance personnel at Bunnings Tarneit required safe access to roof-mounted equipment and facades across a variety of roof levels. Hart (formerly Correct Safety) was engaged to provide a user-friendly roof safety system tailored to Bunnings’ safety and aesthetic standards.

OUTCOME

Our safe access system included:

Hart plant platform – roof mounted
2 x angled cage ladders between roof levels, powder coated Bunnings green
2 x step ladders
Sliding roof access hatch with guardrail kit.
Aluminium walkway with guardrail system, guardrails visible from ground-level powder coated Bunnings green

With this system in place, maintenance teams can complete routine works with less risk when working at height.
